No business is too small. If you are a small business owner, you may have experienced accounting professionals who dismiss you as not worth their time or efforts. In fact, the words, “too small” may have even escaped their lips. But to Amber Robbins, no business is too small for excellent service. Amber’s clients all feel like they are her most important client because of the high-quality services she offers them. It doesn’t matter how simple or complex the tax position is for any given client; Amber knows exactly how to serve them and delivers a great experience every time. She is a true small business advisor, giving clients help in whatever capacity she can to help nurture their businesses to be successful and profitable.

Girl power. Amber is a great example of a professional woman in today’s accounting industry. She has figured out how to keep both of her roles as a mother and CPA thriving. An avid women-in-business supporter, Amber knows that at times it may be difficult to balance everything a working woman is responsible for. She has created solutions that work for her and shares those with others who may need advice or encouragement. As the first woman licensed as a CPA to become a tax partner at Larson & Company, she shares her experiences with others to help them grow and improve and believe that they can reach their goals. She appreciates Larson’s family-focused work/life balance culture, our flexible work environment, and the firm sponsored wellness program.

The power of people. Amber trains every tax employee at every level. She cares not only about the quality of technical ability but the employee as a whole person too. Her compassionate approach to managing others is appreciated in our company and she is a voice for those who may not feel comfortable speaking up for themselves. She enables learning and growth for each of our employees, no matter what department they are in. Amber is a nurturer at heart, and loves seeing others master tax knowledge or grow their businesses.
