Larson & Company is proud to announce the addition of CPA firm Jensen & Associates to their growing tax practice. Jensen & Associates serves clients in the individual and business tax sector and provides small business accounting services. The addition of Jensen & Associates adds two new tax partners to the firm: Jeff Jensen, CPA, and Carl Jensen, CPA.
Jeff Jensen, is an alumnus of the University of Utah and the former chairman of the AutoCPA Group and the UACPA PE Approval Committee. Prior to entering public accounting, Jeff was employed as a controller for a distributing company for three years. He then worked for three years with a Salt Lake City based certified public accounting firm performing duties primarily in the audit area. In 1979, Jeff formed Jensen & Associates P.C.
Jeff has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation and management services in automobile dealership and related companies; retail and wholesale companies; professional sports franchises; lease and rental companies; financial institutions; employee benefit plans; estate and trust planning; and contractors. Over the past 47 years he has worked on audits of companies, prepared tax returns, and provided management services and financial statements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trust and estates.
Jeff has given lectures for the New Car Dealers of Utah office managers for the past ten years and at the University of Utah and Southern Utah University on various tax and accounting matters.
Carl Jensen is also an alumnus of the University of Utah and an Academic All-American with University of Utah Golf in 2004. He has worked in the accounting profession for 18 years. He started his career with Jensen & Keddington, PC then transitioned to partner with Jeffrey Jensen at Jensen & Associates PC in 2011. Carl has worked on a myriad of industries within the small business scope, including automotive, real estate and other general small businesses. Carl’s goal within the accounting profession is to mitigate the stress accounting and tax deadlines can cause employers as well as employees.

Jensen & Associates adds a staff of 5 to the Salt Lake Metro location of Larson & Company offices at District Heights.
