Job Responsibilities
- Inputting client financial information into accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks Desktop and Online)
- Reconciling client bank accounts and preparing monthly financial statements
- Reviewing prepared financial statements and checking for accuracy and errors
- Preparing and issuing client payroll checks
- Preparing and submitting quarterly payroll tax reports
- Assessing and meeting write-up client needs
- Handling IRS state tax payroll items
- Ability to assess client accounting system needs, consult and train them in QuickBooks
Technical Requirements
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- 2-3 years write-up/bookkeeping experience
- 2-3 years experience preparing and submitting payroll checks and payroll tax reports
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and Desktop versions): must be able to demonstrate proficiency

Educational Requirements
- Associates Degree (preferred, but not required)
Compensation
- $18-20/hour depending on experience
